Yosemite and Fire

First off, here are some pictures of the Mariposa Grove and the Ahwahnee. The internet didn't work very well in Yosemite, so I had to wait until we arrive into San Fran to unload.

 

This is the amount of luggage I am bringing for at least the next three months.

Mirror Lake with absolutely no water in it.

 

Fire burning behind Half Dome. All day our first day, we could hear and see the rescue helicopters rescuing people off of Half Dome. About 80 people had to be taken off of Half Dome.

 

Yosemite Falls, also completely dry. We still went down and climbed all over the rocks.

 

 

We ended up leaving Yosemite a day early, at half day, because the wind had changed direction and the smoke in the valley became really bad. You couldn't even see Half Dome. So, next stop, San Francisco.
